To conclude our seminar series for the 2012 Spring Semester, Dr David Smith, a well-known scholar on Indian religion and art, recently retired from the Department of Religious Studies (now Politics, Philosophy, and religion) at Cardiff University, will present an illustrated talk based on the opening chapters of a book he is currently completing on Hindu eroticism. His presentation, which will be illustrated, will place Hindu eroticism in a wider comparative context.
The seminar will be held in the Humanities Building, Cardiff University, in Room 3.48, from 5 to 6.30 p.m. Wine and nibbles provided. All welcome. Enquiries to Geoffrey Samuel.
