Did you now that you can receive your University email direct to your iPhone or iPad? No more logging in via a web browser, refreshing pages. Have the email delivered to your mobile device using a technology known as IMAP.
This handy and unobtrusive technology means that you'll never miss an important University message again as it will be delivered straight to your device Mail app. In a few simple steps you could have this set up on your iPhone or iPad very quickly.

If you own a different mobile device you can still use IMAP to receive CardiffMail. Use the Accessing CardiffMail using IMAP guide (pdf file) to discover your IMAP settings.

Edit: The Cardiff University email services do not support “push” email to iPhones but automatic checks for new email can be set to run every 15, 30, or 60 minutes on your device.
